I've been toying with this one for a while now and can't yet fathom just how people think on it. That is the hypocritical nature of politics. You see I am still one who loosely follows politics, ever since Bush left office it hasn't been as much fun though cause at least his stupidity made me laugh, and one thing that has always gotten to me is how hypocritical people are. Politics brings this out of the woodworks far faster then anything else I find. One side is evil for doing something, yet the other is goodly for doing... the exact same thing!

I could go on explaining what pissed me off over this issue this time but I shall not. (Hint, US cracking down on non-violent protestors again.) Instead I will just ask: What actions has your local government undertaken of late which would get these hypocritical arseholes up in arms if say... Iran... undertook the very same actions?

I have it easy, I'm Australian, so I will go first: Australian censorship of the internet is Still being viewed as a right and moral idea by many back home, all in the name of protecting the children from porn. Yet the very same, actually less censorshippy and yay I made a word up, actions carried out by China is being viewed as a sign of obvious tyranny by the SAME people who are all in favor of Australian censorship.

So what hypocritical actions are being undertaken the world over, I am curious to hear.

I live in ipswich in the uk, and we have a perfectly good hospital here, but the local MP chris mole (who is a pin head may i add) is trying to convince people that the hospital in norwich which is about an hour to an hour and a halfs drive away, not sure how long by helicopter, would be better!

Any pundit or politician who suffers from what I call "Ted Haggard Syndrome".

You know what I'm talking about.

Ever.
Hey, I was wondering... are you a Republican?

Um... I dunno we have this thing in our town that teenagers are forced to go to and be humiliated, bored, and forced to stay in an uncomfortable sitting positions with really bad food for 8 hours strait... I can't remember what it's called though.

I fall in the same category as you, Jinx_Dragon.
They sayit's to protect kids from porn but I just heard some recent news that they're stopping some gaming servers and site to stop illegal downloading or something. I'd have to check again to be sure exactly what but that's the general idea.

...No...
What ever would make you think that?
Oh nothing it was just a guess, in retrospect it's hard to imagine why I even thought of it in the first place, don't mind me.
