first of, happy holidays everyone.

I just got home from Christmas with the family (we celebrate Christmas on the 24th in Denmark) and on my way home the train broke down and i had to stand outside for 1 hour, for those who don't know, its -10 degrees Celsius outside in Denmark and it was very windy and snowing, now my torso and upper legs where packed in pretty good, but i just noticed that my thighs have become a blue/blackish colour, the veins have "popped up" and they are freezing despite the rest of my body being nice and warm, i did look up hypothermia online and i don't seem to have any of the listed symptoms (dizziness, hunger and/or a coma^^) but im still a tad worried.

and for general discussion value, does the Christmas-y background on the escapist make the videos lag for anyone else?

Gradually warm your legs. Doing it quickly will cause further damage.

And that discoloration is generally attributed to bruising caused by the blood vessels shrinking in the cold and then suddenly expanding due to warmth. That and the possible formation of ice in the blood vessels.

Yeah, hypothermia is your body's self defense to freezing to death by only pumping blood to your vitals, Seems' like rocket dog is right and if anything, you've got frostbite, which won't kill you or anything.

And no, the videos have been running fine for me and I enjoy changing the direction of the snow.
