im in Australia, and this thing is pretty much the best. its more accurate than the m16, it is more powerful, and it has a low weapon jamming rate. its either that or the ak-47.

Who cares? It's one of the most reliable weapons available. Also, my country is not a American ally or Communist, so all that is left is third world.
Edit: Forgot to answer. Probably the AK 74 also. I don't know much about the other weapons, so I'd have to look into that.

I'd recomission the M14 rifle. It may be heavier than the M16A4, and use 7.62x39mm rounds, but it is acurate and very reliable. Plus, it can do a lot of damage as a club.

M-16's do not jam a lot. I've had mine jam on me once, and that's because I didn't clean it (wanted to see how much crap I could do to it). If you dump it in the mud or a huge pile of sand and try to shoot it, will it jam? Yeah, probably. They have very low tolerances for intrusive objects.

I've talked to a couple British Military guys, and whatever the gun is they us that has the magazine behind the pistol grip; I'd go with that one. I've heard good things, and they are a sinch to aim in with.

If my nation was broke as all hell, I'd probably go Ak-47, but they really aren't that great, other than you can treat them like crap and they'll still fire.
