Steyr AUG (5.56x45mm), definitely.

If it worked in Jagged Alliance 2, it'll work in real life!

No, but seriously, it's quite versatile, accurate, powerful, and the bull-pup design prevents recoil.

Besides, it just looks downright sexy.

And no, I'm not from Australia.

And several of the other rifles have plenty of practical uses, but for standard issue? Gotta go Steyr AUG.

AK47.

Not for anything to do with its power, but just it doesnt jam that often the stock is solid steel so it could be used as a fatal club if the worst comes to the worst.

That one gun that shoots shurikens and lightening.
But for real, I'm staying with these three: Ak47, Styer AUG Clone, and the TAR 21.
Cause I don't care what the troops would look like as long as the guns they use are capable of being used in shitty situations.

It would be nice if I new a bit about the nation, it's landscape ect. But without that I'll go for the FN FAL (5.56x51mm) reliable, good caliber, range, and accuracy. But can I pick the variant? Because I'd like to go for the L1A1.

QBZ-95 (5.8x42mm)
becase it has more knock down than the 5.56 round which is basically a 22. round going 3,000 feet persecond i figure that 3 mm would only bring it doen to maybe 2,700 and the 5.8mm round would weigh more and do way more damage with each hit. that and the fact that it is the bullpup design would make my troops fast deadly mobile and effeicent,.

plus that gun just looks secksy =P

but if i was going for total badassery
i would have to go for an

AR-15 (.500 s&w)

with a 360 grain hotload it would be fairly accurat out to about 400-600 yards and they would all be fitted with pre-adjusted windage and elavation sites so that they could use the round

that thing would destroy some body if they got sprayed with it

YES THAT GUN DOES EXIST

god i love talking guns a little bit to much

HELLO LOOK AT ME EVERY ONE I HAVE SOMETHIGN TO SAY

5.56x45 is a shitty round, it is only good for wounding people, as the round flies it begins to "tumble" through the air as it hits your enemy, it may hit him square in the chest but could whip right back around and exit through his stomache injuring him but not killing him, my best frind was in the military, he told me stories of people he had shot that it didnt even slow down. the faact that it is basically a 22. caliber bullet with a large casing DOESNT MAKE IT MORE EFFECTIVE

in reality the best rounds that have ever been developed by a fighting force have been the 30-06 and 7.62x51(.308) they are insanely acurate in a good rifle and if you get hit with one you will know about it but sure as hell not for long the better of the two is the .308 because it is basically a shorter 30-06 it can chamber and fire fast enough to be in an assualt rifle for an example the H&KG3 it fires a 308 caliber round and it kills AND ejects brass so hard it can break bones in your face, it has the same basic set up as an AK and with all the recoil would be nearly imposible to jam up, my ultimate favorite rifle in the WORLD is

I heard that Sweden got on the U.S.'s case because the 5.56 round would shatter upon impact if shot from less than 100 feet from the M16. Something about it being inhumane.

Anyway, apart from the fact that shattering bullets will kill you, I doubt most people could still fight after being shot by the 5.56 round. Or any round, for that matter. I'd love to meet this person who walked away with a "stomach" injury, as those are rumored to be the most painful.

im in Australia, and this thing is pretty much the best. its more accurate than the m16, it is more powerful, and it has a low weapon jamming rate. its either that or the ak-47.
We forgot not to produce plastic models, remember? Just don't screw that up, man.

In my own nation? Fabrique Nationale De Herstal (FN) is becoming the official manufacturer of firearms. To the extent where commandos are going to kidnap their entire manufacturing facility and fly it back to my nation.
Official Rifle - FN FAL
Official PDW - FN P90
Official Pistol - FN FiveseveN
This.

No M8? Blasphemy!

I'll admit that I'm not completely familiar with all of the guns you mentioned (Never heard of that Mexican gun) but I do love the M8. Is there any particular reason you chose those guns or could you add the M8 to the list?
