Why do they need to advertise anymore if they've become a public service?
Public service? Are you kidding? They get paid a shit ton of money to do what they did. Remember the negotiations after they caught slimer the first time?
From what I've heard, at this point they've been hired by the city, and are actually working under Walter Pecker - sorry, Peck (aka Dickless).

Also wierd, apparently the guys who wrote The Office (the American one, the one with Steve Carell) are writing a script for an actual third movie. Interesting....
I thought they weren't interested in doing a 3rd movie at all... Somehow I don't think an actual 3rd movie would work out as well.

I don't think a third movie could capture the spirit of the first two films... not that I'm closed to change (psyched for this game), but after a film series has been laid to rest for awhile, it needs to stay there. Look at Indiana Jones... the magic is just lost overtime. I think the actors are still amazing, but I don't think they could replicate something after so long.

I've actually played a demo of this game at Comic Con. I know this is going to sound weird, but it actually plays like the Ghostbusters as well. Those proton guns (or were they called something else) function like they do in the movie and even the Ghost Trap works like that too. I can definitely give you guys home for this one.

Ah, it'll be good to see the original cast back together.

What platforms is this slated to be on?

Who knows, maybe they will actually pull off a GOOD Ghostbusters game.
May I draw your attention to the Mega Drive (Genesis) version. Spent hours on that as a kid.
The bosses were especially awesome.

Somewhat related for those of you who felt that the theme was painfully cut short.

Seriously, this is gonna be great.

(The reason Zeddmore isn't in the intro is that he hadn't been hired by that point.) :)
Afraid not, my friend. This takes place in 1991. The Ghostbusters fought Gozer in 1986. Winston Zeddmore's been part of the Ghostbusters for six years!
Ah, but young padwan, Zeddmore was hired from the proceeds of that advert. The advert itself is 5 years old at that point.
That's what I thought.
