I find the phrase toxic masculinity oppressive. Why can't they just say "misogyny," like normal people? Wonder how many classic movies these people would have cancelled. Even something fairly harmless and relatively modern like Temple of Doom, most definitely.
Though, the article that quoted her is such clickbait, titled, "Women of the Year: Lashana Lynch on making history as the first Black female 007," but confirming it nowhere.

YouTubers and Esquire immediately ran with "confirmed" early last month as well. Wouldn't surprise me, though. I sense people want it now: a female 007. I don't. To be honest, I haven't liked any James Bond since Casino Royale. Didn't even bother with the last one. I wish EoN Productions got new management and writers.
