I Am Alive: Plaigarism?

This is a game set after an earthquake and you play a guy trying to survive in the city. Water is one of the main factors, you can die of dehydration. Although I, like most people, don't know much else about it.

I swear there was a game just like this made about 5 or 6 years ago (probably more) that had the same story, i.e. surviving an earthquake in a city, and also involved water and dehydration as a main gameplay element. I think it was japanese. I haven't found anything about this game on the internet and cannot remember what it was called.

Anyone know which game i mean? or have I just imagined this.

Exactly, and like two or three othe rpeople i know remember it, and i can even picture a part of the game where you cross a collapsing bridge.

The name just completely escapes me.

According the the new Game Informer I just got, the game switched to the same engine as Splinter Cell Conviction and is said to be released in April of 2011 at the earliest.

Shame to, I really want a game set in my home city of Chicago...

Because it's developed by Ubisoft Shanghai.

Im still confused as to why people boycotted Resident Evil 5. It takes place in africa. there arent white people in africa. and besides, people would think it to be racist if it were a black man shooting white zombies in england, when it is really the same thing as resident evil 5.

On the note of games copying games, has anyone ever heard of Project Nomads, an old game involving steampunk elements, jetpacks and floating islands?

It had terrible voice acting, but I enjoyed it. Maybe that was why I was so forgiving of Dark Void's faults.
