Hey, I, oh, I'm still alive
Hey, I, oh, I'm still alive
Hey, oh...

Pearl Jam references aside, this sounds quite good. May buy it, not too sure.
I thought it was "He died, oh, oh, but I, oh, I'm still alive"

I copied that from WikiLyrics, it could be nearly anything. I myself thought it was all 'oh's' 'I's' and 'I'm still alive's'.

Saying "he died" makes more sense, because the line before that is "...your real daddy was dying."

Perhaps, but it may not make much sense in the whole, because the entire song isn't just about his father dying.
Anyway, sorry, going terribly off-topic.

From What ive read about the game theres going to be very little gun play since there are few guns and barely any ammunition but u can scare groups of bandits away by waving an empty gun at them

How could they not notice an earthquake until it starts happening? Was there an underground explosion? Why don't the healthy people simply walk somewhere else afterword? Where's FEMA?

I am intrested in other peoples opinions of this game (will it "bomb" like Mirrors Edge?), and any infomation you may have about it.
It might, it might not. We'll see how its current counter parts do at EA do. Yes Mirror's Edge is not doing well but at EA had to do that to get some respect after their non-stop stream of "meh". That being said Ubisoft does know how to generate hype around a game, ala Assassin's Creed and Prince of Peria, so they might get more attention from the media.

It's nice to see that some of the major studios have put some artistic license into their development schedules. I hope these companies and their products set an industry precedent (i.e. throwing more money at new IPs rather than sequels ever 18 momths).

Possibly because the water would be undrinkable?

I read an article on "I Am Alive" and it simply states the water and resources start to run out.

I'm not too impressed with footage and information we've seen it just doesn't excite me really. Unless something more interesting comes along in the next preview I won't buy it.

intresting idea. but it doesnt look like you do much in it from that video
Thats just a video to let people know of its exsistance...the first Halo 3 video was just Master Chief starting at a ring - the first teaser trailers generally don't contain much relevant content.

I'm interested in the game sure, but I get the overwhelming feeling that something won't be executed properly and the game will become predictable and shallow. I had a moan about the threatening people with unloaded guns a while back. It's a good idea but what variable will keep it fresh the 100th time around? Are you going to be home free every time so long as you don't pull the trigger?

Geh. I'll want to see some gameplay footage to stop my blind speculation.

The fact Darkworks are the ones making it give me cause for concern...

Their previous track record:

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
Cold Fear
