The only part of Fallout 3 that really creeped me out was the Vault with all the Gary clones, & when I picked up a random teddy bear & turned around & there was a S.M. Behemoth right behind me....I guess he really liked that bear.

Sorry for grammer and spelling its 3am and i am typing this On an ipod
The only parts of Fallout I can think of that could be seen as scary are the parts where the ghouls are killing everyone in Tenpenny Tower, or when you get lost in the Dunwich Building. Other than that what about the game scares you?

Fallout 3 is scary in the same way that Australia is scary: loads of animals, all of which want to kill you. Seriously australians, how do you survive the rampaging giant spiders and highly venomous snakes!? HOW!?

Pretty simple, really. You're by no means defenceless, but definately not on good odds.

Just persevere with it, you'll start to learn how to survive and thus will feel a little less vulnerable.
were just really badass......well most of us

I play fallout and i got scared in Scary Movie 1

you will be fine the only thing that scare me are Scorpions and the Ants

but thats only when its like

Okay, let me guess. You have just discovered /b/ within the last 2 months or so. You have yet to grow out of the whole '/b/ is a secret club' stage, as evidenced by your avatar. You look down on people who do not visit /b/. You want people to know that you go to /b/ by greentexting on non image boards and using 4chan specific memes. You have yet to realize /b/ is looked down on by every other board on 4chan, as it is filled with children and meme spouting retards.

How accurate was that?

Edit: You also put periods after your greentext sentences.
Oh man, I can't find the fuck I'm not supposed to give. What a bummer!

I kinda understand this. Often when playing Fallout, I feel tense and uneasy. I think it has to do with the music cues, and the fact that I can't aim for shit.
The night time stuff and minimal music it what make me uneasy . That and that fact that you could turn around and find a radscorpion of mirelurk infront of you.
I fucking love Fallout.

Fallout 3 has a dull, depressing, often creepy atmosphere. I understand. Perhaps the area that creeped me out the most was Springville Elementary School, early in the game.

I walked in and it was dark... The building was destroyed and filled with raiders, and bloodied, dead corpses hanging from the ceiling... Blood and dead people everywhere. Even more creepy when you realize and remember it was an elementary school before. Also, some of the Metro tunnels, being dark, creepy, and the long corridors. Then you walk somewhere and here a baby crying (Carriage trap), you trip a tripwire and are shotgunned, or you trigger a grenade bouquet and your guts are blown every which way.

If you're not supposed to give it then why are you still looking? Children these days!
You seem awfully mad. At this point I'd normally ask you about your relationship with your father, but I've unfortunately not found that fuck I'm not gonna give yet. Sorry.

The Dunwich Building is the Fallout version of the Shalebridge Cradle. Anyway if you're scared, just get bigger guns. It's hard to be frightened when you're mowing down monsters with a minigun or a rocket launcher.
Thief deadly shadows refernce, nice.

OT: ye it freaks my missus out too, mainly because she can hear the ghouls and see the red indicator but cant see the ghouls and it creeps her out, she has only played it a few times, and dies alot on shooters, she is more of a strategy gamer though but thats the first game to scare her lol

I thought "Gary" was frikkin hilarious. That place was like a Twilight Zone episode.
That behemoth charging you down for stealing his toy did freak me out though. But that is I guess the scariest thing about Fallout3: it?s very unpredictable. It?s not like, you gradually fight harder and herder enemies in stages. At the beginning you can leave the vault, walk in the wrong direction for a little bit and get eaten by deathclaws. But that?s also one of the great things about F3. Over time, one by one, (as you acquire better guns, armor, and tactics) the things that scared the crap out of you before turn into real pushovers. But there?s always going to be one or two things that (either because they really are a threat or just because they creep you out) cause you to back up a few steps.
