I'll try typing something this time.

No one at all should take The Daily Mail seriously after they actually printed an article claiming that My Chemical Romance are encouraging teenagers to kill themselves so they could join The Black Parade. Then when people went "what? No Seriously, what?" they refused to back down claiming that it was a well researched bit of journalism.

I'm not a My Chemical Romance fan, in fact I think that if they had one original idea, their heads would explode. But as soon as I saw that "journalism" I came to the conclusion that anything printed in The Daily Fail has nothing to do with real life affairs.

Well to sum things up, here was my take on the Daily Mail when I wrote this in April.

and now continuing with the Adventures of the Daily Mail in this weeks episode - "Fuck it. We will never change."

Sorry about that. Just showing you that the Daily Mail, a paper that you wouldn't even use to wipe your behind when all the loo roll has run out and it's 3 am and you are suffering from extreme explosive diarrhoea, is full of out of date horse s***. Simple click and bait tactics, misinformation, and stories so false and not even accurate that they only do it to sell papers at the expense of playing with peoples fears and other emotions. If the student was non-white, they would have such a massive orgasm over this.

I'm sick of... this goddamn writer's block. I've had it for months now. Like - I'm a writer, dammit! I like writing. Writing is cool! Why the hell can't I write anymore? Honestly, I think it must be the summer doldrums. You'd think having time off of Uni would mean I'd actually get more writing done, but nope! Summer puts me in this weird hibernative state where all I do is eat, sleep, and play video games. I can never get anything done. And the worst part is I have all these ideas and plots and... writerly stuff, but I can' put any of it into words. So I end up glaring at my journal or staring a hole through my laptop screen, wishing I could just beam all this information into the reader's mind and go... I dunno... play some bloody Borderlands or something...

But I don't summer to end because... ugh, Uni. It's not even that hard, it's just exhausting. Ugh. I just need something to get me motivated.

I'm also sick of... Tumblr. All of Tumblr. Everything on Tumblr. I'm sick of the fandoms. I'm sick of the slash shippers. I'm sick of all the awful people I'm obligated to follow because I know them in real life and they'd probably hate me if they found out I ignored them. I'm sick of how there's little to no original content on the site, just people cribbing each other's jokes while simultaneously claiming they're such unique and rebellious individuals. I'm sick of all the stupid teenagers who think they're some uber-mensch generation, more socially aware and kinder and just all around better than the other generations before them, seemingly unaware that literally every generation's thought they're better than the last, thought that they'd somehow get right what everyone else has gotten wrong. I'm sick of how the same "wild" and "zany" story that was obviously made up by someone desperate for attention will be swallowed hook, line, and sinker by half the site and end up scrolling across my dash five or six times, with the same shitty grammar and stale humor and awful... *Sigh* I'm just sick of Tumblr. That entire site needs a massive dose of self-awareness.

Sod you UK weather, stop being so damn hot! I can't wait for winter to come again (and it's not in the Game of Thrones sense).

But I'm fed up with hype over the smallest thing. Comic book films do this a lot. I get that this new Batman suit looks nice, but it is no indication of the quality of a film. At best it's just a chance for Moviebob to add yet another nitpick of badness to a comic book film he doesn't like (see The Amazing Spider-Man) or vice versa (Iron Man). Honestly I hate it more with video games. Seriously I seen the *insert weapon, character, element, device, atmosphere choice* in the trailer, it doesn't effect my opinion of the product by it existing. Tell me about the plot or the gameplay, please.

And announcements of announcements. Oh we will reveal FFXVI (or something like that) on the 17th. But... but you just revealed it. We know it exists now.

When I am stuck with my writing, it helps me to just write down ideas I have floating in my brain. Just a general "the super weapon everyone is looking for is actually a fallen angel" or something like that, statement like that in my notebook as a bullet point. That way I get the idea down so it doesn't poof away and I still feel like I am getting something done. The words will come in time. Don't force them or you end up writing bullshit like Stephen King puts out. Yeah, it might get the job done, but no one will call you a "good" writer. (King hasn't actually written anything "well" since the Stand, but that's an argument for another day).

Another thing I like to do is make a personal website for my stories. It's fun and its a good way to keep your ideas straight. I actually made a "wiki" for series I am working on right now with Google Sites. It's cool to be able to write your own articles, add pictures, link them to each other, etc. When I can't find the motivation or words to do actual writing, I write articles or expand on details and backstory in those articles. I believe the internet is simultaneously the best and worst thing to ever happen to humanity. On one hand, it allows us to have all the world's information at the tips of our fingers. One the other, it allows all of the exceptionally dumb people to congregate and congratulate each other on their stupidness very loudly.

I'm most fed up with mass inaction on climate change/energy security. This is already starting to damage the UK and will get worse, so we may as well bite the bullet and invest massively in renewables and other technology. Self-sufficiency would not be a bad thing considering how messed up the situation in Russia looks right now...

The funnest part? Solar panels absorb heat. The zoo in my town has special parking spots under solar panels so it keeps cars cool and can power the whole complex on a good day. Instead of using solar panels to cool our buildings and give us power, we pay (except in your case) or large air conditioning units and use more energy

Yeah, I've got a mini solar panel at home and it gets intensely hot whenever the sun is out. I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with getting a ton of solar power & then using it to run a bunch of extra stuff that improves quality of life. At least it's better than burning fossil fuels in the long-term.

I'm sick of this bloody heat (yes, another british guy moaning about mildly warm weather, get over it) that's making me incredibly self conscious of being overheated/sweaty after my mile long walks to get to anywhere as I live that horrible distance where I'm kinda near to everything I need to get to, but the distance is too short for me to get a bus, yet too long for a comfortable walk. It's really annoying.
Also fed up with my inability to trust and tendency to be a bit of a suspicious and paranoid twit as far as close friends are concerned. I know they really like me, I just find it hard to believe :c.

Uh oh..this might turn into a flame war but I'll go for it regardless. It is mostly gaming/gaming's industry related.

I am fed up with this games industry that lie to it's consumers and act like 1080p 60fps is the second coming of Christ and they market it as a feature.

You chose to play on your consoles so don't expect such standard in both high fidelity and smooth framerates, because you won't get it (except only in certain games). That is why it only costs 400$.

I am sick and tired of publishers cutting content from their games and selling us DLC and an unfinished product. And then expects us to pay for something that was supposed to be in the game to begin with!

I'm fed up with doom and gloom.

I'm fed up with not being allowed to enjoy anything anymore if it isn't 10 years old or more. I like Watchdogs. I like Final Fantasy XIII. I like the new Tomb Raider. I like Civilization Beyond Earth. I like my PS3 and my PS4 consoles and my laptop equally. I like my iPhone. I like 7th Edition Warhammer. I like it when Games Workshop releases new models. I am excited for Assassin's Creed Unity, and I can't wait for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons to be released.

The worst part of geekdom is not only do they not enjoy it, it is wrong for you to enjoy it and they will spend a lot of time complaining about it and tell you how wrong you are for not enjoying it.

Even worse are the people who will tell you what a bad person you are for enjoying it. I can't just pick up a game anymore, oh no, now I am being told that it's my fault that I am supporting the worst parts of humanity because I liked a game that was released. The constant bitching and moaning by everyone, the PC elitists, the SJW, the 'hardcore' crowd on every aspect of my hobby. People just aren't allowed anymore to pick up a game and enjoy themselves, they have to be lectured on every aspect of "privilege".

I'm sick of the constant political arguments, all the time. If you dare disagree with them, you're the problem and you're an arsehole. If you don't take part, well, you're just letting it happen by the roadside. I am sick of them on my Facebook page and I am sick of them all over the internet when all I want to do is relax.

I am sick of the self-righteousness and viciousness of these people, who will insult and demean and attack anyone who they feel they want to with the spitting anger of a fidgety Walking Dead character and then get angrier when they drive away anyone who might have supported them because they're such a fucking bad example of everything they stand for that the cause would be better served if they sat down and shut the fuck up once in a while. If you ask if they calm down, they'll fly for the face and screech that you shouldn't have come here, it's you fault you apologist, and I am waiting for the day that they get banned again and fuck off.

I am also sick of the more embarrassing parts of geekdom. We get it, FF7 was cool, yeah, I liked Zelda too, Star Wars was pretty cool, yeah, but can't you shut up for a second about it? Also, why are you overweight, why do you dress terribly and why do you smell? It makes me distance myself from the whole damn thing.
