I don't know about anyone else, but I find I have more fun playing Fallout 3 with god mode (hit the ~ key and type tgm) enabled. Doesn't take all the challenge out of the game as you still have to find stuff and say the right things to the right people. Does make fighting the bad guys and monsters fun though. You can even fall from tall buildings and get blown up without dying. Makes you feel like the hero in that movie Unbreakable. Or like the hero on the Captain Cosmos billboards. I also like using advlevel to max out things like speech and barter and to level up perks like ladykiller and child at heart to see what I can get the npcs to say and do.

There are some cool mods but my favorite so far is the rideable motorcycle that I found on falloutnexus.com. Makes getting around the wasteland more fun.

What are your favorite cheats and/or mods for Fallout 3?

Probably the developer console command for adding money.

I miss cheating in Fallout so much.

But I've played Oblivion, which is essentially the same thing, and a favourite cheat then was toggling off the collision, so you could fly. Is that available in Fallout? The code is tcl or tlc... I forget which.

It's tcl, and yes it's available in FO3.

I haven't played it on the PC... But I did watch a clip on Youtube where a guy was firing a Pistol that was loaded with nukes. Not those "Mini" Nukes... But the kind that you blow up Megaton with.

I also saw a clip with a Minigun that fired Mini Nukes and a clip with a Power Fist that could kill people that were far away.

Those are the best mods I've seen for Fallout 3.

My favourite cheat? Turning on TCL and gibbing.

With TCL on, people "gib" but do not splatter, persay. They turn into their gory form, but stay in their human shape. I'm talking muscle looking people with MASSIVE eyes and jaws. Do this to the whole of megaton, then turn off noclip/tcl, and watch all the bodies go WEEEEE.




It didn't work when I tried it in real life.

I didn't find cheating in Fallout 3 fun, it was just meh.

One of the few games where cheating is real fun is The Sims.

Fairly certain you can do it with the 360, using a memory stick and some 1337 skillz. I doubt the PS3 is any different.
