Employed at 16.I find it funny that people twice my age don't have jobs.Even if I only have a summer job.

I'm employed for the summer. I make silicon carbide parts for industrial heaters. That's really all I know about what I do.

I'm now on a course to become a professional, paid Grammar Nazi.
A.K.A. Proofreader.
Don't knock it, I can work from home, flexible hours, and it pays a hell of a lot better than most other stuff.
Worth the little investment to get started.

Congrats! Now don't screw up the interview.

As for myself, I'm unemployed, but I'm not looking for a job. Because i'm still in school, I get EMA for £30 a week. Next year though... the job hunt begins!

I'm unemployed, and can't say I'm looking for a job. It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I don't have a driver's license yet.

Just remember you don't get paid for it on the IRC, so please don't correct my mistakes (not that I make any, of course! :p). I have a hard enough time with Fraught and everyone else doing that!

Good luck with the course also, Grey.

OT: Employed, rather happily at present. I hope to be working where I am for at least a good few years yet.

Nope. I have no clue where I'd get a job anyway. Really don't want to do fast food...

How old would you have to be to get a job at a game store? I think it's like 17 (the age to play M games), but I just want to make sure.

Planning on getting work once the Second Term of class begins and I fit in the groove of the schedule.
Until then I'm living off my bank account.

I was in that situation before. I didn't get the job, which means I'm still looking.

Getting payed for doing it beats doing it for free.
Plus, if I sign up with the right publisher, I can be reading books before they go into print.
Getting payed for something I like to do... is this heaven?

Brain broken. Doctor says no. Short form of my current job parameters. I would like to work. I truly would. But until I stop being broken I won't be working.
