Taking on Agents as one of them is a deathwish... And that makes the game more thrilling.
And that's why i never won the airplane level.

It's Enter the Matrix for me. Sometimes it seems like I was the only player on Earth who thought playing as Ghost and Niobe was cool, and that a "hacking" setup for cheat codes was charming.

I don't know, it's just something about being vulnerable. If you're playing a Matrix game as Neo, you have nothing to fear because you're The One. You can kill anything. Now, Ghost and Niobe... They're skilled fighters, but they're not prophetic saviors. Taking on Agents as one of them is a deathwish... And that makes the game more thrilling.
Finally someone who has played it, that game was great and when you see a agent and you know you cant kill him. Pure awesomeness.

I LOVED this game, but it has to be one of the longest games i've ever played.

I enjoyed Jedi knight: Jedi Academy. It was really fun, but I've never really heard about it from anyone, like if it's good or bad

Halo. I enjoyed the game immensly, yet it's 'cool to hate' and as such, hated. Though I'm not particularly embarrassed to admit I liked it, I regularly call people out on bashing it needlessly.
This and black and white, loved that game black and white. Yes while it was a ***** to get convert other people it still was fun being a god.

um, Halo 1, 2, 3 & ODST, love me some ODST.

I also loved pokemon stadium, Mass effect is my favorite game of all time despite its flaws, and I also liked the sailing in windwaker, How crazy is that?

I love playing Fable 2. There, I said it. I'm naturally drawn to games with lots of character customization. And I fully agree with Pararaptor about Spore.

I personally love the Serious Sam games, I dunno what it is about them but i find them quite relaxing. I don't know what the general opinion on those games is but all my friends think they blow...

I believe there is 2 games that I actually really enjoyed that most people flame like crazy would have to be..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_of_the_Stars

Was so...bad... but I enjoyed it and actually beat it without assistance "There is quite a few parts where the only way to find something was to check every damn pixel.."

And Final Fantasy X-2, I still think it has the best battle system of all the games and once you get past the J-pop start group the story isn't all that terrible.

This thread has also been done many times before.
If it's been done before, you don't have to post. Jesus Christ I'm going to start reporting "Search Bar?" nazis for spamming...

OT - Bullet Witch. It's... Awful, but I still love it. Especially if you download the stupid extra costumes so you can run around as a witch, with a machine gun broom... In a school uniform :p

I hope I'm not the only one with this game, because I know everyone has a guilty pleasure out there. Everybody has a game that they know is imperfect, yet we love it anyways and we accept it's shortcomings because something esoteric in the game calls to us in some sort of way. What's my game? Too Human. I know it sucks, and I am perfectly aware of that fact while I am playing, but I still play it and I still love it nonetheless. My question is, what is the game you are embarrassed to admit that you like on this forum? What's the game you ritualistically see bashed here that you want to defend, but you are too afraid to face the collective criticism for enjoying a game we are expected to hate and conform to the larger consensus.
Turok: Evolution. For GameCube.

Horrible game with cathartic blood-spurts. Plus cheat codes. Decent multiplayer, though. 'Nuff said.

It was good fun. The multiplayer especially (I think we must agree the moral choice system in the single-player was bad) and it had a dedicated and very skilled modding community (and it still does) I haven't got the game any more, I think I must have lost it ='(
Have you ever seen a series of videos called Jedi Academy: Re-Edited?

OT: Cultures 2: The Gates of Asgard. BEAR WITH ME. It's not a perfect RTS. In fact it's nowhere near a perfect RTS. It takes everything at a slow pace and the campaign scenarios go on too long. However, it is just fun to play. Partly because the campaign is narrated by Sergeant Cortez from Timesplitters and partly because the hybrid of The Sims and The Settlers sort of...works!

(if anyone has ever heard of Cultures 2 say aye)

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Such a lonely, solitary tale with beautiful levels and awesome combat.

I even liked the metal soundtrack that everyone rips on so much.

This times 100.

...Also Fable 2, which I was suprised to see, a lot of people hated, or disliked due to the excitement Peter Moloneux brings across.
