Well, woke of w/ scratchy throat, and by third period it felt like my arm was going to fall off. I go to the hospital, I see a sign on a glass that says "tell us if you have these symptoms" and I had nine of ten so naturally I was like O.O , all they did was give me a mask (these things are a marvel by the way, how well they fit). I have to take 2 sets of meds and I am going to be out for at least a week.

Anyone else gots teh flue?

I've never actually had the flu, I think I'm immune. I've lived in a house full of people all sick from the flu yet I remain untouched. It's probably all that cocaine I snort!!! But seriously man that sux, drink alot of agua and take some asprin.

Looks like everyone survives the flu. If it's easy to cure why do they make such a big deal out of it. It's like hearing this on the news:

Either you get a shit load of vaccines each flue season or you need to go out side. I choose not to get a flu vaccine so i get the flu each year, its not that bad because i can stay home and watch G4 all day

But, yeah, flu sucks, whichever kind. I got a severe case of flu around this time last year and never felt so ill before or since. Honestly felt like I was going to die... which would've been a welcome end to the 'feeling bloody ill' thing. It was three whole weeks before I felt well again.

There's nothing to worry about, and you can lose that mask. It does nothing to keep you healthy, it's only to avoid giving someone else the flu.

I actually think I'm immune to it, I've never had it and my boyfriend was round the other week when he had the flu and I slept in the same bed as him and what not and not even a sniffle!
