......What in the name of Christ's extra nipple was that? I sure as hell never saw any commercials about this when I was a kid.Romblen said:

Oh, you think that's bad? I just recently had a brief conversation with my friend talking about, "When Cartoon Network first came out," and, "What ever happened to Loony Toons?"Space Spoons said:I was reminiscing about Nickelodeon's programming lineup throughout the 90's with a friend the other night. We ended up watching episodes of Rugrats on YouTube. Somewhere between "Touchdown Tommy" and bashing the channel's current lineup, we realized we'd become those old people who sit on porches and ***** about how crappy the world is compared to the way it used to be.
It was sobering. I want to be seven years old again.
Damn, even I'm not that old.s69-5 said:The Atari 2600 was released in North America the same month that I was born.
Star Wars was released that year, and Elvis died that summer.
You're also a win.likalaruku said:I'm a year older than the Original Macintosh (Apple's second computer) which is featured in a museum in Japan. MUSEUM.
All the video games, american comic books, & anime I remember most fondly are from the 80s & 90s. When I talk to noobs or fans younger than myself, they're clueless about the titles because they're only into the baby-fresh shit. They know nothing about dated consoles, emulators, or how f**king hard it was to get fansubs back in the day.
I am older than the internet.
Yet you fail to spell the names of the subjects you're so interested in. Tell me, are you American?Supreme Unleaded said:I'm only 14 yet i watch the news and im interested in poatics and ecinomics.

Hey, I'm only a few years younger than you, and I basically remember all that kind of stuff. How I miss drive-in movies. The sound was crappy, but it was fun to just lay in your car and watch some cool new movie on a giant screen. I remember the release of the original NES because my cousins got one and we spent far too much time perfecting Mario Bros. than is good for us.s69-5 said:That makes you young.TheNamlessGuy said:I was born in the 16 bit era.
It creeps me out

OTHERS:
I saw "Goonies" as a double feature (with Ladyhawke) at a drive-in. Anyone remember those?
My parents rented a new fangled device called a VCR which was about the size of 4 fat PS3s put together. They also rented this fabulous new VHS tape called: Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I remember when we got the newly affordable kitchen tool called a microwave. That was really neato.
Saturday mornings were spent watching the Smurfs & Muppet Babies. I even remember when they released the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo.
Yeah, I'm getting old.

Why, you ask?
Well, it turns that a fantastic album made by a fantastic band was made 9 years ago.
System of a Down - Toxicity - 2001.
What makes you feel old today?
wooow toki wartooth! (not a bumble bee)
(that means with passion and love for the instrument)
