I feel old...

What things make you feel old? Sayings, films, games, references no-one else seem to get, music, whatever.

For me, it's my usage of the words "dude" and "cool". It's like I'm a nineties sitcom cliche...

Also, when I remember playing frogger on my old Commodore 64. Mock me, but it was awesome at the time.

EDIT: BTW, I'm 19, I feel around 40. XD

When people call games like KotOR, Half Life 2, and other games from this decade old.
I've been playing games since the 80's, and it makes me feel incredibly old when people relate "old games" to games that are 5 years old.

I played Frogger. It was amazing!
I loved the one for PC where the starting screen was blocks, and it was a proper hide and seek game, with lawnmowers and dogs trying to get you. There were levels in the sky and in a sewage plant.
I wish I still had it.

Dude, (oh no, I'm doing it too!) I just graduated after 6 years of college.
I have to find a job now. You can't believe how old I feel these days.

Also, when you start noticing the freshmen get younger and younger every year, that's not a good sign.

I guess it doesn't help that I still have my ZX spectrum and amiga 500, which indeed I still play (although the spectrum isn't as full of life as she used to be).

Whow! There are 11 between us! When you mentioned the C64, I thought you were a child of the '80's!
But yeah, sometimes I do feel a bit old, but then again, there are enough intelligent people who'm I can laugh with and have an intelligent conversation, age doesn't really matter in that way. Some references I make can be a bit out-dated, but it doesn't bother me.

Oh yeah! I forgot about the dark levels! I could never do the level with the owls in a forest...
I actually want to play that game again. I need to find it.

I've been playing games since the late 80's and can remember playing The Oregon Trail on the Apple ][e (and dying of dysentery).
I was actually talking to my Grandfather yesterday about how the world had changed even during my lifetime and how I didn't get text messaging, 'cause I don't.

I was talking to my 14 year old nephew about games. He is hardcore into his Xbox and Wii. We were playing the Wii's Smash Bros and I chose Sonic as my character. He turns to me and asks "Who is that guy?".

He wiped the blood from his forehead and I answered "You never fought in the console wars". At that moment, I felt old.

I have the advantage of having repressed my childhood, so I don't remember any of those older things that make the rest of you feel old.

I also have genetic joint issues, a leg that's been gimped since I was twelve and doesn't seem to want to go away (though it was supposed to at 16), my back and neck are so incredibly bad that I see spots, get incredible dizzy spells, get horrible pain in both my back and head, and have trouble standing straight at times, I'm almost always exhausted, and I've, for the most part, beaten depression. I'm 18.

I also speak with considerably more experience than most people around me and have old-fashioned view on propriety. Y'know, respect, honor, not wearing shorts that have your ass hanging out when you're fourteen and on the bus. Love then sex, not sex then child then obligation.

Yeah, genetics and mindset make me feel old.

Yeah, when I looked at his profile and saw the listed birth year as younger than me I was like, "Was he poor or something?" 90's kids rocked the SNES.

I don't really feel old, sometimes I feel a bit of a humor disconnect when reference 80's pop culture and 90's pop culture people my age wouldn't have seen.
