I finally fixed my avatar

Because she is easily my favorite character of one of my favorite RPGs.

I always felt justified in chooses her romance option in Persona 4, but with the release of Golden, and more specifically, its extended epilogue I feel even more justified in that we find out that she is... well, just damn! Look at her!

No wonder she was always in such a serious mood. Those bindings must've hurt like hell. Like flossing your own ass with barbed wire kind of hell.

Beauty, Brains and Bad-assness. Character. Guns. Megidolaon.

And no matter how many times I cast the Anti-Spirit pistol, no, it is not yet enough rounds.

Seems the base image isn't really popular. The one my avatar came from was way bigger.

Ha, well I never watched DN myself but people said she wasn't in the anime a whole lot but she was more involved in the manga.

I like that though. Only a few people have recognized her.

I'm not sure you missed much, it was ok, I would have preferred they focused more on the morality of it instead of making it a Sherlock Holmes vs Professor Moriarty story like they did. I would say its most notable for its willingness to kill off characters.

Why did you choose the avatar you currently use to represent you on these fine forums?

It was actually a challenge.
I wanted to see how elaborate I could get with an animated avatar. Like a small game of tetris elaborate.

I managed to fit it in the size constraints, barely.
Had to remove all the color though, so it's just plain black and white.

Wasn't that a gif that Fijiman posted in the 1000th post thread? Also do you still have the original?

Although the character in my avatar is from Death Note, it was edited to look exactly as I do in real life. My best friends made it for me, saying that it truly symbolized what kind of person I am. So my avatar symbolizes me, literally.

Well your avatar has a shit ton more meaning than mine
Do you already kind of look like the character or did you just like the "pose" of the original pic? I've never read or watched Death note so I wouldn't know.

I've had a bunch of different ones, but this character is the only one I've come back to at all - she also happens to be the character that got me to start caring about anything in Touhou besides the bullets. Came for the bullets, stayed for just about everything else. Starting with Youmu, so that's why she represents me here and has done for a while.

Been meaning to change the specific picture, but haven't found a better mugshot of her.

My friend used it in a power point once, and I though it was hilarious (and terrifying) so I went on google to find the pic after I found out most people remember you better if you have a unique avatar. Doesn't have very much meaning at all really. I don't even really know what it's from :/

Look, this is the first time I've seen you post, so I'll just say it now: you are currently my favourite person on the Escapist! I love ED-209, it's one of my top favourite movie characters ever.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'd almost forgotten about the entire franchise's existence to be honest with you. Until I'd heard about the upcoming reboot in production. The new film will most likely be GOD-AWEFUL, but it reminded me how great ED-209 was. After that I just HAD to find a gif, and stumbled upon this one which was perfect for the Escapist. All that was left was an appropriate username. "ED-209" is a little too short for my liking, so I toyed with it a bit till I was satisfied, until it became what you see now.

That plan may have backfired on me a little though, it took be a while to remember how I'd spelled it. If that continues to be a problem then I may have to abandon this profile, which would suck royally.
