I got a job!

Yeah! I haven't had a permanent job since I was 16, I'm now 19, and after some hard work and a metric tonne of luck, I've netted myself a stock control job at a grocery store.

I am absolutely over the moon. The job market around here is diabolical and I've had god knows how many unsuccessful interviews and applications so to finally get what I wanted for once feels good!

Nope, there's no discussion value here, I know that, but this is a big deal for me. National unemployment rises and somehow I get a job!

I have a friend who has only ever had 1 job in his life and that was only for a few months. He is now 26 and has been un-employed since he failed year 12. So I can understand why your happy because finding a job can be so damn hard!

My Dad is friends with the manager, so that helps, and my Dad has interviewed people in a previous job, so he helped me write a really good CV.

Yeah my dads a god damn wizard with CVs, he made mine pretty damn good. My mums friend is an area manager at Tescos, and he was going to help me get a job there, I have an application form and everything, but in the end I didn't need it, as a CV I handed in there before I even spoke to him about it won me the job in the end! Crazy world we live in.

Yay! I've had to apply for JSA after been turned down Wednesday and about 5 times before that. Wonder if anyone else will push my face into the dirt today.
