I Got Into The Freaking Finals!!

So, I stumbled upon a contest hosted by IGN and the creators of Borderlands,

The contest was to create the best gun you could imagine, either drawing, painting, or created using a digital design program.
The rules to the contest were pretty open so any gun you could imagine could be a possible entry.

I used SolidWorks 3D modeling program to create a model of my gun, and then I took a screen shot of it and touched and colored it up in photoshop.

PLEASE don't post any of the finalists entries on this thread though, I read in the rules that all submissions must not be posted on other sites. and you can be disqualified for doing so, I just dont wanna take the risk, this is $3,500 worth of prizes here!

Tell me what you think of it, and if you think I have a chance of winning the grand prize.

Congrats, I think yours was definitely one of the best entries; there are some other really well designed/drawn ones but they look very similar to things from other sci-fi media.

And yes, mine is the grey one with the orange grooves on the side.

Honestly I think my biggest competition is the disk launcher on the bottom right. That one is very well designed.

The blue one on the top right is also very good, as well as the one directly beneath it.
