I got screwed

My Xbox 360 died and the warranty had ran out 2 years ago so I took it to the shop to get it fixed and they had already recalled the bugged versions when I got mine in december 07 but the guy told mine was actually sold me a 06 model, Myers fucking sold me a dodgy xbox is that legal?

you had it for 3 years, i think its time to let it go.

keeping one of the old xboxes alive for 3 years is miraculous, so what if it was a slightly older model, you couldn't have asked for more, also even if it was illegal (i dont know) the police wouldn't care about a 3 year old minor fraud.

It went past warranty, that means it's lasted as long as it's supposed to and more. Get a new one man...

Sorry to hear bout your misfortune there. I don't really think it would be illegal, unless it said somewhere on the packaging that it was a more recent system. I'd imagine a lot of stores might have old systems that hadn't sold before a new order had came in, so they might just be collecting dust until it manages to get out onto the shelf.
