Gem is spelled with a 'G'. Anyway, I find Morrowind.
You should use the past tense of "find" before you start calling people out on grammar.
Unless it was a hypothetical situation that I inserted my present self into. Which I did - I already have Morrowind, and use steam so there's not too much bargain binning going on. However were I to find a hidden gem in the bargain bin, it'd be Morrowind. That and there's always time to be a grammar nazi.

I got InFamous for £10, brand new. Already on my third play through. I love that game.
Best deal would have to be Timesplitters: Future Perfect for £5. You wouldn't find a better deal anywhere...
Future Perfect was a bad ass game, and that was actually going to be the one that I wouold call my hidden jem, as I picked it up for next to nothing (I think $7)

I snagged Metal Gear Solid 4 and Fallout 3 used for $8 each.

I also got a brand new, never opened copy of Way of the Samurai 3 for $10. It had like 15 price drop stickers that started at $50 and slowly worked down to $10. I pity the suckers that passed on that game.
i've been wondering, is way of the samurai 3 as good as 1&2? I've been meaning to check it out, but there are alot of games to buy right now....An opinion from a fellow gamer would be nice.
I love it. Some people find it hard to get over the "PS2 graphics", but I really don't notice them. There's tons of customization, tons of new features(dual sword wielding and ninja/dual ninja sword wielding), tons of sword stances(and spears), a ridiculous amount of sword moves, you can make custom weapons, and a whole lot more. Plus, you can save mid-game now and come back.

If you liked 1 and 2, I'd highly recommend the third.

I don't think its particularly well hidden as most people seem to agree that Saints Row 2 was awesome but I got it for about £3

Beyond Good and Evil for five bucks.
I got mine for fifteen. Too bad it hates my PC ;_;
The farthest I got into it was the installation screen. The only experience I have with it is "Propaganda".

Me and my mate walked into gamestsation and found Z.O.E. in the preowned section, had a small fight over who saw it first and agreed to take turns to complete it. Is my turn now!

I was able to pick up the special edition of Mass Effect for about $20.00. It came with the Bring Down the Sky DLC, making of videos, and most of the music from the game. One that does not pertain to gaming is I found the Animatrix for $5.00 at one of the local dollar stores. A CD was also included with it that contained all of the music in the Animatrix. I thought it was a pretty good find.

I saw Panzer Dragoon Orta, a pretty hard game to find, for about 5 or 6 dollars at Gamestop. Didn't have any money at the time. Next time I came and looked for it, with money this time, it was gone. That was depressing.

(Tomba! for "under-appreciated then, but overpriced now" category. Hell even old demo discs that have portions of the game sell for as much as brand new games)
Really?
Fuck, I'm pretty sure I threw out all my old demo discs a few months ago and one of them had a demo of that game on it.

On topic: Uhhh, I dunno really. The only time I can really remember getting something that was brilliant and far cheaper than normal was Disgea: Dark Hero Days on my PSP for about 25% of the regular price.
Yeah,

Hopefully the wiki is wrong this time but there is a good chance you threw away a couple hundred bucks if they were in good condition.

Rule number 1: never throw tech away
-give to someone else
-sell
-store in case you want it later or it appreciates in value.
