Game ideas just come to me, but i just had this idea of a spiritual successor to Prototype, oh, and all of this was kind of on the fly...
you can choose to play as either the Lawful Evil protagonist or the Chaotic Evil protagonist, each story will unfold differently, with each having an ironic ending to their struggle against the other.
basically it plays like a sandbox game where you must take over the city from the other person (depending on who you chose to play as). You go around the city and forcefully take it over by destroying the enemy resistance and defeating an area "boss" before finally taking on whoever you did NOT choose to play as.
you and the other one are actually alien brothers sent to earth to conquer it, but a differing view as to how earth must be taken over puts you two at war, and the place where you both landed is your battleground. The area itself is an island with diverse terrain ranging from stuffy cities to peaceful outskirts (if they can do it in Red Dead Redemption, they could do it for this game) to sunny beaches. You control territory by doing missions and destroying the opposition, but sometimes the territory will become disputed when the enemy force starts to try and take it back (leave it alone for too long and you'll have to retake the area)
being aliens, you and your brother are both superpowered with the ability to run up walls, parkour your way around ANY obstacle, regenerate your health, and form your bodies into various weapons as well as consume nearby friendlies OR enemies to take on their appearance or power you up to make your attacks more powerful. another power you have is the ability to assimilate technology into your body, so things like guns, rockets, and other electronics will become a part of you on the fly (you can attach different guns to each hand or even a gun and some other piece of machinery... like a chainsaw). speaking of flying, the technology application allows you to even attach things like jet engines and helicoptor rotors to your back and fly around.
you also have the ability to control those around you with your powers of either intimidation or insanity (depending on who you choose to play as) which allows you to send masses of people at enemies like a distraction while you do something else, and you can use any object that can be picked up as a weapon (and you know how to use guns, so that shouldnt be a problem)
