And not for the reason you think. I hate them because most of them are fucking dumbasses(?).
Why are all of them retarded and cannot do proper planning. Can you not make a more elaborate plan before you rob a bank? Seriously, it boggles me how I, a 14 year old could do a better job being a criminal then these dimwits.

For discussion value:

Do you think you could be a sucsessful criminal?

I can tell you're 14.

Tell you what, go try to rob a bank. You shall quickly see that its not as easy as you think it is. All sorts of secret safeguards you don't know about for the sole purpose of catching you.

To quote something I saw in a video on youtube somewhere, "If I started killing people, there'd be none of you left."

In all seriousness though, I probably could if I really wanted to, but I don't and I don't really ever think about it. XD

Successful criminals don't rob banks. They embezzle money from megacorporations. They run insurance scams. They steal personal info and sell it.

In short, if you've heard of them then they aren't successful. This isn't the age of John Dillinger, after all.

Are you seriously implying that I may be some kind of world dominating criminal with world destruction blueprints lying about........

*knocks several blue rolls off of desk*

I mean seriously that is silly and you should grow up and not mention any of this to the police....

*takes off monocle and hides it*

This is a good time for a new Dillinger, though. A gentleman bandit, robbing credit card and insurance companies? He'd be a hero.

Well, apparently they are getting smarter.
Although I think working out how to use a camera in the middle of a robbery then posting the picture on Facebook isn't too smart myself...

But as for the question, no, I'm too much of a chicken shit to do anything like that.

Robbing banks was an example.

Sounding like it helps your argument sometimes :p That, and being on good terms with bank security.

Well I was in attendance at a mandatory High School Seminar thing that basically taught me how to steal someone's identity, so I think I'd be a mildly successful criminal.
Seriously though, the whole student body was taught how easy it was to steal identities.

I for one, would prefer criminals to be as dumb as possible.
Kudos. That's probably one of the most sane comments I've read in a while.

This, even beyond crime - go ask Anonymous or arms dealers how crucial an issue identity is.

As well you should!

OT: I could probably be a decent one, but only as something really mundane.
Like...
A mundane type of criminal.
....yeah.
...
A little help, here?

I can't think of a mundane type of criminal.
