So its 5 pm (west coast) and i turn on the tv to watch my usual hour of king of the hill but to my horror i found yet another talk show followed by tmz. I then in proper reaction i set my cat on fire. Not really but if i had a cat i wouldve because that crap pissed me off that much, wtf is wrong with tv now? It used to be i could turn on any channel and i'd find cartoons or decent shows but now its all reality/talk show crap and garbage that tries to claim itself as a cartoon (example: total drama island) Does anyone else feel this way or am just a lone nut like gary busey?

Networks are starting to get into what is called "Sweeps", which is essentially times when ratings are huge. Before sweeps, it's a time to test the waters for shows that might garner more viewers. I'm sure it's not just Fox that is changing their lineup slightly. Plus, the west coast gets a different TV schedule than the rest of the country since it's 3 hours behind New York, so that might also be a contributing factor.
