I mean that's fine, i understand that there is work that goes with these titles and fine if you wanna charge that much for a title then there should be a bundle with significant discounts. Because you are asking a lot from people who've already bought these games over and over with no physical release option, console option, or even modern day updates like achievements or even the extra content the aniversary games contained 15 years ago.Probably 10 dollars to cover the expenses of re-doing all the sprites again. I mean someone or people had to re-draw whole sprites.
I mean in the case of Final Fantasy 1, they are trying to restore how the sprites originally looked like in the NES game instead of using the modern re-releases.
Like The Thief Class now looks like his "Blue Haired Elf" self from the NES instead of looking like a Human "Link" in outfit and color pallete.
The big bosses like The Lich now looks like his NES Sprite then the GBA/PSP one.
If these were "definitive" editions, we'd be having a different talk, but as far as I've read these remakes will not include the extra dungeons or content from other versions of the games. So while they are "pixel remakes" they are strictly lesser versions than other copies of the same which people can buy for cheaper.
