"Cool story, bro." If I give a valid point and you dismiss it out of hand as opposed to actually responding or conceding I get pissed. Really REALLY pissed.

I got in an argument on WoW with the whole Pirates vs Ninja thing, just for fun, with a guy in my guild. I used X-men for my proof and he started saying that "They're not a ninja" for whatever character I mentioned. It's important to know two things at this point, one: I am a geek. Two: There are a lot of ninjas in the x-men. I used psylocke for this example, had a book in front of me saying outright that she was a telepathic, telekinetic, ninja. About an hour went on before I just logged off and punched a wall because I was giving valid points and he was using that god damn phrase, and now I hate the phrase.
You punched a wall because someone used a phrase? Really?
Well some sayings that I dont necessarily like are "I can has" or "lolz" or anything of that nature. My friend uses those all of the time in daily conversation and I really don't see why.

Webster disagrees.

Well, if you could care less, that means that you do, in fact, care.
Same here. I think it's supposed to be "couldn't" but nobody says it that way, which aggravates me.
Merriam Webster thinks w00t and mouse potato are words. They have absolutely no credibility.

i didnt really have a choice now did i what was i gonna say no i dont feel like it i had to say okay i hate it when people pretend that you have a choice in something when you have to do it
just tell me to do it and we will have no problem!
"Would you kindly?" You also didn't have a choice because of bioshock and Fontaine. If you haven't played bioshock you have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. Then what are you doing reading this post? Go buy it and then play it. It is a magnificent game :D

"The Lord works in mysterious ways" is a massive copout. If christians can't explain something then they just fall back on that
Amen to that.

Anyone who says, "my bad" to a mistake. I have a co-worker that says this often. I want to destroy his ability to speak.

When people say "I could care less" about something that they don't care about. Good god people, do you need a dictionary? If you could care less, then that means you do actually care, otherwise you couldn't care less. Which, by the way, is what you should really be saying.

When I was younger I used to rage at "Boys will be boys" because it was always an excuse why the boys could go and roll around in the dirt and muck around and no one would bat an eyelid but if I did the same it would be terrible misbehaviour.

"Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it."

No shit. Doesn't make your degree any more useful.

This. This. A thousand times this.
Every time I hear this phrase I'm ready to tear out the offender's eyeballs.
First of all: losing faith in humanity includes yourself, which I doubt you've done. Second: who are you to judge 7 billion people? Third: Humanity has always been like this, it's not like suddenly the entire world went to shit.

"Get a life" or "You have no life." etc.

Could you please be more specific? No social life? No pulse, thus making me a zombie? Actually don't tell me. Just come up with a better fucking insult that can actually be based on something!

Recent example, my dad is a fan of Glee and he was watching a youtube video of on- SPEAK OF THE DEVIL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNHTCglQ_Wk

For those who don't click that, the second highest rated comment is "the 2 people who disliked this video have no lives :/" (even though it's much higher then two now) The best part of that is ONE HUNDRED AND TWO people agree with that. Fucking Nazis. Almost as bad as Twi-zis.

Uh... it is according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
Well technically I suppose it is. But, it is a double negative which makes it not a word. Just because some Italian guy from a show says it doesn't make it a word.

"The customer is always right"

That is not right, I think that the workers on the store knows much more about how the store works etc than a customer at the store :]

When all the teenagers call eachother 'gimp'. I'm 14 and it I don't understand what they mean, as gimp doesn't fit into any non-sexual context. I just assume they mean an actual gimp, like the one from Pulp Fiction, but I still don't know what it means. Will someone please elaborate?
