I hate the Jimquisition ads.

I agree totally, they still beat the 30 fucking secs of adds im almost used too nowadays, but still, i realise this is a pretty imatture attitude and at the risk of sounding like the childish cockend i wage war upon, He looks (And sounds, judging by the 25 secs of his show i could be bothered to watch) like someone i would enjoy punching, childish as it is.

I thought his show was okay, but I also felt like it didn't really say a whole lot. He kept saying that video games shouldn't be like movies (which I agree with wholeheartedly), but didn't really go into any detail of how or why the experiences are distinct. It felt like he was repeating himself rather than exploring the topic.
I don't like him distracting me from the real videos like Unskippable and Punctuation
So I have to go fullscreen.
Also, I don't think this is the best way to promote a new escapist series.. advertising on the escapist videos about other escapist videos is like preaching to the choir. When I have to see him over and over again I start to resent him before I even see the show

Guess this is one of those times I'm really lucky to be a pub club member. That episode of Jimquisition was probably one of the worst openings for any Escapist series I've ever seen. I don't know who that guy was, or why I should think he has any credibility, and since he doesn't actually bother to back up any of his points by doing anything more than repeating them ad nauseam, then there's no reason to bother listen to him. And he's not funny either, you can't just say things angrily and expect it to be funny. The description below the video about him being "gaming's biggest douchebag" seemed unfortunately accurate.
So, while I haven't had to suffer through the ads, let me say that I do feel some sympathy for those of you that have to. I don't know what it's like, but I bet it's not fun.
