Y'know to be honest I still don't see what the big deal about that was. I know the difference in the comic is that the suit tortured Peter for a while and in this case made him only mildly more aggressive but overall just gave him a lot of previously unknown confidence. That's where it seems reasonable to me, Peter's a lovable dork. Dorkiness + Excessive Confidence = Embarrassing display without shame.
On top of that, the part in the bar also makes sense because he's angry at MJ. MJ's dream is show business, and what does he do? Shows her up by taking attention from her. That's a pretty bad thing to do to someone wanting to be an actor.
I know all the problems, but I just enjoy it XD
The problem is that no person would actually -DO- that. \
Wrong. You've never met my family or friends. They have honest to god done something like that without irony and without knowing of this movie.
But they never imply "dorks can't get chicks". Peter has 2 other very attractive women that like him in 3 with and without the symbiote (Gwen was more a friend pre-symbiote but definitely Ursula). The dance scene in the bar does kinda imply that, but the scene is there because Peter was angry and under the symbiote's influence was willing to just do an impulsive and hurtful thing to both Gwen, Eddie, and MJ all at once. Seriously, that little act there is a middle finger to all 3 of them.
But New Vegas and Elder Scrolls aren't really FPS games. You CAN play them in third-person, and they're both much more focused on the RPG aspect. Well... with the possible exception of Oblivion and most of Skyrim.
Anyway...
I hate turn-based combat but I love it Fallout 1 and 2... and in XCOM: Enemy Unknown... and I strongly suspect that I'll love it in Transistor whenever that next SuperGiant Games work of art comes out.
I hate CCG-style videogames, but I love Magic: The Gathering in all of its incarnations.
I hate spin-off novels for tabletop games and video-games, but I love the DXHR novel, and the Ciaphus Cain series (though I've only read a preview of that one so far... unfortunately).
I hate it when games constantly reach for the obvious, groan-inducing jokes, but I love UnEpic and the Sam and Max series.
I hate QTEs, but I love them in The Walking Dead.
I hate XNA games (mainly because most of them refuse to work on my pc) but I love Dust: An Elysian Tail and Bleed.
I hate cosmetic DLCs, but I love Mrs. Foster, the Robot one, and all of the Steampunk packs for Killing Floor. (Now why the hell don't they just leave the zombies in their Steampunk forms? They're MUCH more interesting that way!)
