--For those who don't like to read, I need to find the .exe file or whatever for a game I bought off Steam.--
Oook, the other night I set up Steam cause' forum member AC10 showed me there was a 5 buck deal for some game, so I bought it, everything went smooooooth, I enjoyed, so yesterday, I decide to buy another game.
Ok, well, besides taking 36 hours and 90% of my computer to download the stupid thing, everything went good. Oh, until I tried to play it. It doesn't work.
Yep, my fault, I should have known, silly me, its called system requirements and all that jazz. So, easy, i'll go to 3Danalyze and just trick it to playing anyway, because i'm cheap and thats the way I do things..
No, no I won't. Cause its a STEAM game, which, and I dont know for sure cause' im not savvy as some of you, but I guess that means "STEAM" is my personal secretary, and will keep the game only sorta-kinda on my computer (IE, no freakin .exe or whatever.)
So I can't trick the computer, I cant play the game, and yeah, its Steam, so I can not return the stupid thing because its a download, and you just cant return downloads. Its the law or physics or somthing.
Anyone got any solutions, I mean, can you get the .exe file for a game you bought ((BOUGHT maaan, im *not* downloading torrents like 88% of the human race, i should be rewarded for my niceness..)) off steam? Why shouldn't I? can I not be trusted anymore.
Oh, and yes, I know I could go buy a fancy graphics card, but mommy says if I want a car, I have to, oh, buy it. (and no, I *CAN'T* EVEN TURN THIS GAME INTO AN EXPENSIVE CUP COASTER, BECAUSE ITS A DOWNLOAD!! =P)
Thank you. Lesson learned, obviously the hour and a half trip to target is still worth it, maybe the long trip will knock some sense into me and I wont buy games anymore.
