Holy crap!!! i went and read the first few chapters of this to kill some time and you were absolutely right. I'm on chapter 4 and so far more than half of the story has been spent describing the main characters rediculous clothing.

What usually depresses me is a long look at your life,how the people you love will eventually die leaving you alone,then the concerns of what will happen to you in the afterlife,the concerns of living alone. Then there's always thinking about the pathetic lives /b/tards have.

oh, and if that doesn't work, then heres something, my mother deals with sick dying people daily, and shes gotton so cold to it, it won't eveneffect her, thats something that'll get your tear ducts off for sure, morbidity and mortality

Well now think on this: it is gone forever. You are older now, and you will never feel that again. Maybe something like it, but cerainly never that feeling of unconditonal love. You are grown, and your mother grows old and forgetful. Soon she will no longer remember such precious memories, and eventually, she will not remember you. She will then die a sad and lonely death, thinking that everyone she has ever loved either is gone or has never existed. Just think on that.

okay, this is the saddest I have been this entire thread, my body was shaking and i felt genuinely upset, but alas, not a single drop

There's no law that says you have to cry. You were genuinly upset. You have emotions so it's all good. No need to see a doctor.

All I felt watching this was irritaion at the girl for wasting all her matches. What are you going to sell now! And also candles on a christmas tree. Fire Hazard!

But if its sad you are looking for. "Grave of Fireflies" is the saddest movie I've ever seen. I did shed a tear. It's Studio Ghibli(Japanese) and needs to be watched with subtitles but will choke you up.
Also "Requiem for a Dream", this is more insanely depressing then sad.

toy story 3 - i didn't feel anything
iron giant - i didn't find it sad at all
little match girl - not a feeling
i don't find many things sad either, but omg...

recently i watched i film from 1989 named - "all dogs go to heaven"
my eyes swelled at the end, it is an absolute must watch.
saddest thing i ever saw. sucks that not many people knew about it.

Ironically, the movie "Boys Don't Cry" made me cry the most. One particular scene gave me such a fit of anxiety I cried until my eyes hurt.
