Well not really but it comes pretty close because I thought it up while I was laying in bed last night and couldn't sleep because of a sugar hype. But I digress.
As I was saying I got an idea for a weekly 'thing' (for lack of a better word) that could be put on the Escapist and I'm wondering if there would be any way of pitching this idea to the admins/moderators or whoever I should be speaking to about this.
Can anyone help me out on how I would go about this or better yet if it's even worth asking?
Ok so here it is:
Basically it's going to be a sort of 'comic', but with photographs and screenshots instead of drawn pictures. The subject would be about how some situations from games would turn out when done in real life.
It would look a bit like this:
Starting with: "Something tells me if you'd <insert in-game situation>..."
*Screenshots depicting the in-game situation*
"...it would look a bit more like this."
*Photographs depicting the re-enacted situation* (which will end a little bit different than it was intended, as you might expect).
Pictures will be edited with speaking balloons and other effects.
For a name I was thinking of naming it 'Copy/Paste'.
That's about it. I know it's not very detailed but it's hard to write it out like this when it's mainly a visual thing. I will probably make one of these comics and present it to you so you can see what I'm seeing in my head when I think about this. I hope it'll be clearer by then.
If any of you have any questions about my idea, feel free to ask. Constructive criticism is also very much appreciated.
