I also have not played most major computer games from before about 2008 because my dad is a hardcore Mac fanboy and that is when I got my first laptop I am serious the only computer game in my house growing up that was well known was sim city 2000

I guess I should feel lucky, as I've spent awhile trying to think of something you'd expect everyone to have played, that I haven't. I...haven't played Mass Effect 3, still working through 2, but that's not old and had years of new players or anything. Ooh, I've never played a single Battlefield game, or Portal 2, despite owning that for about 8 months.

(I have thousands of games in my house, someone save me...or not it's been fun.)

I'd say Minecraft is a bit too specialist to be considered an uberclassic, but I certainly haven't played it (nor will I, ever). I did get to most of the highlights from the 90s, but ended up liking very little of it, just not one for 16 bit platformers. The last real RPG i played was KotOR 2, tried to go back to the first one but couldn't stand the interface, these days I just refuse to play rpg's that aren't open ended (ala Mount and Blade which I have played forever. Played the SNES Zelda and the first gameboy one but really kinda hated them, haven't touched it since, I will say some of Koji Kondo's scores are really good though.

So far it seems that everyone has played at least some incarnation of Pokemon, huh.

As for me? About any console exclusive. Yes, that means Okami, Zelda, FF and stuff like that.
From PC? Uncharted, Battlefield, Starcraft and just about anything recent. I have neither the machine or the money to be able to play new stuff.

I have never played a Legend of Zelda or Mario game nor have I played Shadow of the Colossus or Ico (though I do actually want to play these 2). Apparently this means I can?t call myself a gamer no matter how long I?ve been gaming or how many other games I?ve played.

I also haven?t played KotOR despite it being the sort of game I use to play a lot of. I might play it one day when I get around it but I?m just not really into Star Wars.

I've never played Warcraft, the original Starcraft or Diablo II. Supposedly this is a big deal as almost everyone my age who gamed says their childhood was dominated by them. Also never played Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow, I wasn't allowed a gameboy until I was 12

I've never played the first two fallout's or either of the Banjo games. I got a lot of flak today for not playing Bioshock, so I almost picked it up at a Gamestop on the way home...I didn't though.

I played KotOR 2 but not KotOR 1. That was always a weird one, because a few years back Obsidian were the "bad guys", and you'd usually be told KotOR 1 was the superior game. These days Obsidian are considered the good guys, and you find a sizeable portion of the community will tell you KotOR 2 is the better game.

In the other direction, I played the hell out of NWN, but while I own NWN 2 I've never played it past the first couple of hours. Something didn't click with me for some reason.

I never played any Fable games.

Yeah, I haven't played any console games for the last two generations, with the exceptions of under an hour of Sensible Soccer 2006, maybe an hour and half of Sing Star, and a few hours of assorted Wii shovel-ware. I have about 10 minutes of Halo as my only MS console experience (We were playing and handing around the controller and unlike everyone else there I need inverted Y axis so I just handed on the controller on and didn't pick it up again, that is as much Xbox and 360 as I've played).
