That fucking last level in the Simpsons Hit and Run, god damn it! It's been 4 years and i'm still stuck on it... damned nuclear waste, blowing up at the slighest touch...

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 - Oil Refinery on Realistic. I've been stuck on that one for two months, to the extent that I've taken a break because it was getting into my head so much.
FFXIII's Barthadelus. The second time you fight him, in the town. He just keeps casting doom on my leader when he hits half health or whatever. Can't kill him fast enough. Also CBF grinding.
Gah, I remember that level. Still haven't completed it either. More recently, I can't get past a bit in the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time when you step on a button to open a gate, drop down a hole while avoiding a swinging spiked log, climb up another hole, avoiding another spiked log, before the door at the end closes. I can never reach the other end in the limit and it's really starting to annoy me.Darth_Dude said:
the last game I got stuck on was last year, playing GTA: Vice City Stories. It was a mission where you had to kill about 20 snipers in a short amount of time, then drive a (slow)tanker filled with highly volatile stuff, whilst getting shot to hell and rammed, to the other side of the islands. Put that with the anoyying PSP controls and I after the 50th attempt, I never played it again. I will never take dual analogue controllers for granted again.
I remember on destroy all humans loooooooooong ago on one of the religion missions I had to defend some hippy camp from the government. Did I mention that it never ended.

Makes me angry thinking about it. I was soooo glad when I finally got over the 3 planks bit, only to fail at the next section!
I swear I tried for a whole day trying to do it...then watching the leaderboards where people did it without any flaws..WTH??

The final level of Lost Planet 2. EVERY other level me and my friend just gunned our way through with jolly smiles on our faces when suddenly we are made to fight about a bazillion akrid with neither checkpoint nor relent from the alien hordes. Eventually we strapped great big plasma guns onto ourselves and blasted it all away but this was after about half a whole day of violent swearing.

EDIT: Just remembered by ps2 bricked on me a few months back...
I'm a bit stuck on one of the cross-examinations in one of the Ace Attorney games. Trials and Trib's, I think. And I decided to not use a walkthrough.
I haven't been stuck on any level really bad since LoZ: OoT, back in 99'. Right near the end of Jabu-Jabu's belly. Being a 7 year-old, the first thing you do when you enter the second room is smash those stupid wooden boxes for the blue rupee, regardless of whether you have 99 or not. Because blue rupees rule.
It it wasn't until 6 years later I found out that you have to place one of the boxes on the switch to the left to open the door to the penultimate chamber. Poor level design if you ask me.
And then another length of time on the Water temple. Although I'm not sure that counts. It's probably considered more of a right-of-passage for N64 players, no one beats it on the first run.

SWAT 4 is the only game I've never finished unwillingly, and it's a very hard game in singleplayer. I finally beat the red offices level, and got stuck on some other level so I just said screw it and beat it in Co-op, even though that doesn't count

Well, I've never completed Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones when you're up against two big dudes.
They weren't hard to figure out, but I was 12 at the moment, so my tactical thinking and overlooking the situation for the best solution was not inhabiting the centrum of my brain.
I got pissed, stopped playing it for 6 months, tried it again, lost because I forgot how the controls worked, and finally gave up.
I swear it laughs at me still when I go to sleep.
