This is the thread for the advancement of our vocabulary. If you happen to know any excellent words that you think the world should know, and how to use it, then post it here.

I will start with a couple.

Labyrinthine: Just how it sounds, having qualities of a labyrinth. Used to describe complex, twisting things.

Malapropism: A ridiculous or amusing misuse of a word, or using a word out of context with unintended misinterpretation.

Vincible (adj) - capable of being conquered or overcome. (as opposed to invincible)

Tintinnabulation (n) - The ringing or sound of bells.

Milquetoast (n) - a very timid, unassertive, spineless person, esp. one who is easily dominated or intimidated.

Depauperate (adj) - poorly or imperfectly developed.

... These are a few of my favorite things ...

That's the improper name for it, and it's a disease similar to Pneumonia where the recipient inhaled too many disulphide, silicone, and other organic and toxic gases found from magma. Usually, mining near, around, or beside volcanoes. Hence all of the root words.
