Navi is fucking awesome and is just a bit epic in the final battle against Ganon.
Majora's Mask is the best Zelda game.
The Modern Warfare story so far is like a fantastic action movie and makes perfect sense if you just PAY ATTENTION GOD DAMMIT.
The Halo universe, if given the chance, can be the Star Wars of our age.
More on Halo, Halo 3: ODST was the best Halo game by far, and Halo Wars is severely underrated.
Halo: Reach's story doesn't fuck up established canon THAT much (seriously, for the few on here that care, do not argue with me on this point, I don't want to go over it again.)
Dragon Age 2, though not as good as the first, was still a great game.
Resident Evil 5 is just as good as Resident Evil 4. Definitely not better, but at least just as good.
WoW is not evil.
Star Wars: The Old Republic, looks amazing.
PC is not superior. But neither are consoles.
Movies based on SHORT video games could be amazing. Longer games, like Mass Effect, if anything, should be a mini-series or full-blown series. Or they should at least be side stories.
Silent Hill 2 is not scary at all.
Chrono Trigger is the best game Square-anything ever released.
Linear, non-innovative games aren't bad if they tell an amazing story or are very, very well made and fun to play.
Alan Wake is one of the most under-rated games of our time.
(EDIT: Thought of one more that makes sense right here) Conversely, Portal, though good, may be one of, if not the, most overrated games of our time.
Red Dead Redemption may be the best game ever made.
The only thing Final Fantasy VII ever had going for it was amazing music.
Ho-oh is WAY cooler than Lugia.
... Oh god, more Halo, I apologize. The Flood are incredibly fun to fight, and I actually love the Library level in Halo 1.
I'm sure there's more. But I'm way too tired to think of anything else.
Goodnight, sweet Escapist.
