I tried to watch it with an open mind but I just can't stand it. I was really hoping we could see this war from the point of the clone troopers and not so much the jedi but of course that won't happen.

Back when Cartoon Hetwork was on its last good years? That series was good, though the two minute format for season one was annoying, but season two was great. Plus it was fun to rube it in my parents face when we saw Episode III and they did not know how Palpatine was kidnapped but I did.

As a longtime Star Wars fan, I find the series enjoyable. It's certainly not the crown jewel of the series by any stretch the imagination (Empire Strikes Back takes that honor), but it's good for a family-friendly show. If you get into the mindset of a child, it's not bad at all. I'll probably even buy it when it comes out on DVD.

That said however, the full-length movie pilot was too kiddie for even my tastes. I still like the 2D version better as well, even if the Force powers there were a bit over-the-top.
