Well, I'd find it a little crazy that a My Little Pony show suddenly became a hit with quite a lot of people, given all the stuff I've seen about it, but then again, I'm british - There were some reports about a month ago about the sudden unexpected popularity of a show called Rastamouse. (It's a show about a rastafarian mouse, Dreadlocks and Rainbow Turbun thing and all. Stranger still, it's aimed at Preschool. )
Course, difference between that and MLP is that My Little Pony has allready been linked with "girlish childish drivel," so some people just dismiss it out of hand. In fact, thinking about it, I've been one of them. I might well watch it... One of these days.

I still don't see why the creator of two very "meh" cartoons is always listed as a plus. The only good thing out of the PPG was MOOJOJOJJO because that name is damn fun to say.

Oh also wanted to point out that even given the 70's explotation nature of the show, I think Panty and Stocking is way more of a credit to PPG, Lauren Faust, and Dexter's Lab then well PPGZ ever was.
