Like (hopefully) a lot of you people here, I did quite a lot of my growing up in the bygone days of the 90's, and feeling nostalgic as I am now, I'd like to know what you all loved about the decade.

For me, there's a lot: while we did get the cartoons from the late 80's, we got a load of good shows of our own: X-Men, Batman: The Animated Series, Spider-Man, The Tick, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Dexter's Laboratory... the list goes on.

I still love the videogames from the decade: they were simple, primitive compared to the games of today, but we loved them all to hell.

So what are your stories of the decade?

The Dreamcast, SNES, and N64. My soul living pieces of the 90's in my house.
The Dreamcast came out at the very end, but you tell me of another game system that allows you to play as a guy with green hair who cannot button his shirt properly, driving at reckless speeds and endangering countless lives.
But it all started in the Arcade, so that why it's up here.

I loved Dexter's Laboratory, and The 90's was when hip-hop was starting to get popular, and I might be burned at the stake here.. but it was actually good..

Quoted for truth. I'm personally still a fan of MC Hammer and Sir Mixalot myself.

I was born during the early Nineties, so I like the decade for the fact that I came into existence. The only bad thing about this is that I missed Batman: The Animated Series and Nirvana when it all first came out. I'm pretty much all caught up now, though.

Hot Wheels. I loved those things. And Cartoon Network only had cartoons, where did it all go wrong? Oh! And SpongeBob was started in '99! Still great.

The 90s ruled. Blur, Nirvana, Pulp, Fatboy Slim.

Then there was the N64, the GameBoy Color, the Playstation, the Dreamcast.

Wonderful decade.

I grew up in the 90s as well and besides the actauly good chartoons from the decade it was the golden age of one of my favorite genres, 3D platformers.

Hey hey you're going the wrong way! Time to make some c-c-c-craazzzaaaay money, here we go!

Ever get Crazy Taxi 2?
Ever unlock the bicycle?
Also ever got Shenmue? 'Tis possibly the best Dreamcast game ever.

Techno & rave explosion, jungle, acid, rocks, MDMA, death & black metal, N64 & Goldeneye, PSX & worms & tekken series, collapse of communism & threat of nuclear annihilation eases off, Thatcher finally fucks off, internet gets good, IRA stopped blowing shit up. Everything looked pretty hopeful. It was a great time to be a teenager...and it meant the end of the 80's, also a good thing.
