i will honestly read anything, i like the thought of something new so all suggestions are welcomeJodah said:Well, some more info as to what you prefer genre wise would be helpful. Lacking that, I like anything by R.A. Salvatore. The Drizzt series is pretty lengthy and new ones are released fairly regularly.
Orcs by Stan Nicolls is good too. It takes the generic roles of humans vs orcs and flips them somewhat.
i have just finished reading assassins creed, i really enjoyed reading that and to be honest i would prefer to read the story before the game or have i got that completely the wrong way round???Pandalisk said:Do you like fantasy? try Terry Pratchet or Terry Brooks

Can anyone suggest a good book that won't bore me to sleep???
No you haven't, i've only played Halo:CE but i've read every single Halo novel, next time your in a book shop just look at the game novel section and pick one that takes your eye.xc00l n3rdx said:i have just finished reading assassins creed, i really enjoyed reading that and to be honest i would prefer to read the story before the game or have i got that completely the wrong way round???Pandalisk said:Do you like fantasy? try Terry Pratchet or Terry Brooks

Seconded! Also, from your topic comment, I take it that you usually read "girly books." One good, fun, interesting book in that genre is "Dealing with Dragons" (female protagonist, but makes fun of all the cliches while telling a great story). On a more serious note, you might enjoy some classical literature if you just gave it a chance. Pride and Prejudice is always popular, smart, and funny. One work I have really gotten into lately is the 11th century (one of the first novels, also written by a woman so bonus points) Tale of Genji, a feudal Japanese romance (I recommend the abridged version by Seidensticker).endnuen said:World War Z
It's a fast read but boy-oh-boy is it a wonder.
