Yeah, if you're into getting raped by a giant monster...ayailla said:Anything by Richard Laymon. Beast House is a good place to start.
It is very entertaining... the whole trilogy is amazing.Snake Plissken said:Yeah, if you're into getting raped by a giant monster...
(Seriously, that book is pretty entertaining.)
World War Z
Patient Zero
It does, doesn't it? Richard Laymon isn't as well known as I would like him to be, and most of his books are amazing. After Midnight is also a good one. Full of, "Don't go in there!" moments that make you want to throw the book across the room in anger at the woman's stupidity.deus-ex-machina said:Read this book. Still a bit freaked out by some of it.
Good horror but not amazing. I'm not sure it is meant to be considered a masterpiece - but that makes it amazing in it's own way.
Good to see someone else liking the Black Library. (Which apparently really is a library in the universe!)Greyfox105 said:Try something from the Black Library, the Warhammer 40,000 books make a nice change.
Especially the Ciaphas Cain books.
Pendragon Series. Personally I like it better than the Harry Potter Series.xc00l n3rdx said:I'm getting very bored with reading girly books that are all the same... same beginning, same ending and same middle!!!
Can anyone suggest a good book that won't bore me to sleep???
