As far as the not talking thing goes btw, if you two haven't talked all summer, and she didn't so much as make an attempt to talk to you during that time, it's safe to say she probably doesn't like you anymore.

I suppose your right, life usually is the more pessimestic thing, but I'm not giving up that easy.

teenhelp.org . They kinda specialize in these things, i'm all for the escapist forums branching out, but it's probably for the best that you go somewhere a little more specialized.

I find dearcupid.org helpful sometimes. Or if I'm being nosey then it's a bit of a laugh.

But OP: The worst she can say is "no"... In general conversation just ask if she has a boyfriend, if she doesnt.. whey get in the son ;D

Ok, I know these threads get old, but my friends really aren't helping me and I'm at my wits end.


Ok, so last year this girl I liked for almost a year said she liked me. Well, cause of my idiot friends and my cold feet, I didn't ask her out. Well, I didn't talk to her over the summer and schools startedback and I think she still likes me. I've talked to her a little bit, and I really like her, but I have two problems. I can't figure out a way to find out if she has a boyfriend, and I'm not sure how to proceed without that knowledge. See we talk some on the phone, but very little, and some in person, but again very little, so I know I'm not in the "friend zone" but I also don't know if she still likes me that way anymore. So I do the stupid move and ask a bunch of random people on the internet for advice.

Proceed to tell her how you feel, ask her out. If she does have a boyfriend she'll tell you. If she doesn't, you win.

If she does but doesn't tell you, get out of there.

I strongly suggest that you talk to her more. Call her more often, even if it may be awkward at first.

Does she have a Facebook? Usually people would have themselves listed in a relationship on Facebook. That's an easy way without any awkward talking.

If you can't even so much as talk to her or ask if she's single then don't bother. Gain confidence around her (and girls in general if necessary) and THEN you can think about a trying for a relationship.
