What I want, more specifically, is recommendations of Japanese books; that is, books written by a Japanese person. I don't want it if it's not written in Japanese by a Japanese person and subsequently translated into English (or possibly Swedish). No genre limitations. So there's no need for the usual recommendations of English-language fantasy, Hitchhikers guide and George [censored] Orwell. What I'm looking for is Japanese novels, written in Japanese to be published in Japan, which later have been translated into English. (Or possibly Swedish.)
