I need game suggestions for the PS2!!!

At some point, I will get a PS2. I'm very aware that it's a generation old. I had a PS1 (very awesome system!) for the longest time, but when PS2 came out, I couldn't afford it or any other then-generation system at the time. Then I got a PS3 as a wedding gift!

I realize that I totally missed out on an awesome generation, so I need some suggestions. Please try and give me AT LEAST 10 titles that I "MUST" play!

To help out, I'll list for you, in order, my favorite genres that I know I'll enjoy the most:

1. Action
2. Adventure
3. Puzzle
4. Strategy/Stealth
5. RPGs

If you know games that include multiple genres in them, by all means post them. Thanks!

Killzone and Black are pretty good action games. So is Urban Chaos and The Punisher, two criminally underrated games.

Persona 3 FES is an awesome RPG, and this is coming from someone who usually despises JRPG's.

 

[Simple Bluff]

1-Rayman revolution (although it is a PS1 port).
2-Sly Racoon games (although they're coming out on the PS3).
3-Ratchet and Clank games.
4-Jak and Daxter games.
5-Shadow of Collosus (I heard ICO was good too, but I never played it myself).
6-Kingdom Hearts games.
7-... Final Fantasy X?
8-Timesplitters.
9-God of War games. With the exception of the puzzle segments, I thought they were better than III.
10-Simpson's Hit and Run. No, really. It's better than GTA in my opinion (well, if you have no one to play it with).

One game I never got to play for the Ps2 that I was desperate too at the time was Okami. Can't really describe it to you, bit I remember from games magazines at the time it been touted as Playstation's answer to Zelda (don't quote me on that though!).

I would also second FFX.

Also, I've just checked my old game stand with my PS2 games in it...

Syphon Filter 1 & 2: though I can't remember which was better, both are 3rd person action games with elements of stealth.

Onimusha 3: didn't have the chance to play this much before I got an xbox 360, but what I played I enjoyed.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Makes me want to get my PS2 back off my friend! He's had it for about two years :-/
