i need help finding good software

i was wondering if anybody could tell me a good video editing software which is powerful enough to do effects at the level of doomsday arcade because i am really stuck :/

Well, first we need to know whether you're running Windows, Linux or Mac and which flavor of the aforementioned.

I've heard good things about Sony Vegas, although I don't know if it could do editing like that in Doomsday Arcade.

Adobe After Effects.

Really need a camera and teach myself how to use it.

i have used vegas in the past and its not a program made with specil effects in mind right now im using cyberlink power director which i think is a bit better in some cases

Not entirely sure but Adobe might have something that will tide your quest well. I'd go with Adobe After Effects.

yeah seen some pretty good videos and stuff which use after effects but i've also heard it is a difficult program to use but i'll give it a try
