I was debating putting this in R&P, but whatever. The advice forum exists for a reason, aye?

Anyways, I have a term paper to write for my Social Studies 20-1 class. I'm writing about how Nationalism Influenced Cold War Era proxy wars with specific reference to the conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, and the Soviet Invasion of Afganistan. If anyone can help me out by naming some good research sources about any of those three wars, books, magazines, websites, articles, papers, anything, I'd be very grateful.

Perhaps your Local Library? Usually just ask the head honcho there and ask for Biographies, stories, conflicts etc.

Local library using the sources at the bottom of the page. Find what you like about the article, find what books they are in and find the exact phrasing. If you wanna skip the general go straight to Korean, Vietnamese, Afghanistan conflicts wikipedia and do the same. Teachers give wiki a bad rap for being edited but excluding the special search websites that some colleges offer( or you pay for) its hard to find what you are searching for. Honestly I like wikipedia better than any search websites through any of the school in my area and i get them all for free, better search options and more to look at before actually get a book.

I will stress local library as well. If they dont have the books, public librarys now have the ability to ship books to you from other public librarys around the nation. In fact, if you know what book you are looking for, you can probably just take the name of the book to your school library get it shipped to your school library using the same system.

My school use to do this for me all the time for some harder to find Richard Powell books.

Edit: to hide the retard in me.
