I need help hooking up a PS3

This is going to sound stupid, but I need help hooking up my PS3 to a toshiba HD TV. I've got an HDMI cord and I've connected the two before, about a week ago to watch some movies. The problem is that afterwards I couldn't hook up my PS3 to a standard definition TV it couldn't seem to get a signal. I am now trying to hook it up to the toshiba again but I keep getting a "no video signal" message. Yes the ps3 is plugged in to both the tv and the power and yes I have checked both HDMI ports and yes the tv is in game mode.

Please help.
