I need help

Okay. In a nutshell, I'm craving games and guns (Lol Tack Jhompson).

I've had a rifle for years, but the truth is it's a bit wrecked, the scope and the barrel have had it and I just don't want to spend money on repairs, and extra ammunition when I can get a crossbow with re-usable ammunition.

Theres another problem too. I want to play a really old favourite game of mine. Medieval total war. I know theres a sequel but I'm hesitant to touch it because it might not be the same game I fell in love with. While at the same time, I want to fulfill my Black Scottish Cyclops love by finally buying Team Fortress 2 for the PC. So, here is the numbers.

£14 for TF2
£5 for Medieval Total War, and I think it's expansion is also included.
£30, £35, or £40 for the Crossbow. The first being pure plastic, the 2nd being Metal and Plastic, the 3rd being pure Metal. Each comes with 3 bolts.
£10 for 10 Extra Bolts.


I have

£50 in Cash/Card
3 Games to Trade in. Fallout 3, HAWX and Halo Wars.



What is the best deal for me Escapists. Show me what you got.

Don't trade in, sell on ebay, you'll get more money for your games, then buy TF2 and Medieval off ebay and transfer the rest of the money to your account then, use the rest of the money to buy everything else. I know nothing about crossbows, and I dunno if you want em all but you should come out in the black if you but the metal crossbow, bolts and games if you use ebay ^_^

I'm British, and I like practicing on targets. Also, I can't sell a broken gun.

I dislike Ebay because I'm an instant gratification kind of guy. I like to have things there and then. I don't like waiting about on other people. Sorry! D:

TF2, The cheapest crossbow, and 10 extra bolts. I know that puts you over a bit but I'm assuming those trade-ins weren't included in your original 50.

They weren't. I'm not very competent at PC shooters because I'm better with a controller. How will I know that TF2 is the right choice over say Medieval and a fully functional built to last metal crossbow? ;]

dont trade in halo wars, just break the disc, that would be one less printing of the worst RTT ever made(unit caps do not apply to RTT). the gun you should sell because if you dont hunt, there is no point to owning something larger then a revolver. use Bit torrent to download the medieval total war game, play the single player campain, then buy it if you like it. buy the orange box if you dont have all the games on it already. dont get a crossbow because the plastic one would break easily, the semi plastic would also break, you wouldn't be able to buy anything else if you got the metal one.

btw, you should stop playing FPS games then, because if you dont play an FPS better on a computer, you are incompetent. Mouse>joystick when not used for driving games

Halo wars is still money whatever way you look at it.

I can't sell a broken gun.

I already tried multiple Torrents for the game, none of them work and all the cracks are useless. Besides, what's £5 for a game I love?

I had Orange Box on the 360, completed everything and didn't like HL2 and all of it's expansions. Portal was good the first few times. I love TF2, but the Console version failed in comparison to what I heard of the PC version, and so I traded it in because the Console version had crappy servers, laggy games and glitchy maps.

And I can still get the Pure Metal one, 10 Bolts, and Medieval. If I'm lucky with the trade ins, I could probably include TF2. But I don't want to depend on luck and would rather get a definite idea in my head so I don't get disappointed if I don't get what I expected.

too bad zombie diseases are not picky about what they infect. 1 dead fish arrives on a shore, a bird eats it, the entire country is infected in a few months

If you decide to buy a crossbow, buy the metal one, you'll kick yourself later for getting a slightly cheaper one. But I can't really decide what combination of things you should buy, especially seeing as I wasn't overly interested in Medieval Total War or TF2 and I don't know anything about crossbows!

You win. But you also lose. I need the money in Cash if I'm to buy TF2. Because I'll need to put the money on my card to buy it from Steam. Unless anyone knows that GAME or Gamestation sell TF2 as a standalone product.
