I remember when I was revising for my AS Levels a couple of years ago (they're not as hard as you think they'll be, by the way), and I had two strategies that worked.
1. Have a cycle of work. By this, I mean revise for, say, half an hour, have a ten minute break, then do another half and hour, have a ten minute break. Then revise for twenty minutes, and afterwards go and d something else for say, an hour. Then, do the same thing over again. This was recommended to me by some "revision expert" that came in to our school. Anyway, it worked.
2. Draw, be creative. Merely looking at things only requires you to see the information, but writing it down or drawing a little cartoon about it forces your brain to process that information. Make a list of every major point/fact/statistic etc you want to remember and do a little cartoon relating to it next to it. It works, really.
Finally, get off the internet.
