You do know that The Exies released a second album, right? It was titled "A Modern Way Of Living With The Truth", and it was released in 2007.

Sounds like someone in that band is a fan of Coheed and Cambria. Personally I'm not into that style of music all that much, but those kids were decent.

I always think it's funny when people call them kids. The lead singer is almost 30! Crazy, no?

OT:some stuff I like(no guarantee you'll like it)
Beck it's his... Style, he has some pretty good songs, and his sound changes on almost all the albums of his I've listened too.
Muse had some interesting stuff if your a Rush fan
if you want quirky songs, try Cake or Honest Bob and the factory to dealer incentives, both have some pretty funny songs(check out comfort eagle for cake and second and eighteen for Honest Bob, those are the ones that can decide if your a fan of them or not)
Also, ever listen to Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros? The have this really awsome sound, since I don't know how to link to youtube search for their song "Home" on youtube.

No guarantee you'll like any of that, but those are a few of the bands I like.
... And Gorilliaz how I missed their new album I'll never know.....

The title is pretty much explains it, I want some music that I don't already listen to on the radio tight hundred times a day and from what I can tell most people on the Escapist have quite the good taste in music so I'm asking you escapist what music should I get, No metal though (Speed Metal is fine) I'll try to listen to everyone's suggestions.
If it helps I like Rock, Jazz, Alternative, and Some sorts of pop like Atomic tom.

Well I have a very eclectic taste in music...meaning I like anything as long as it is good.

That also includes rap and country.
