I'm trying to make a very good party but I can't decide on a 6th pokemon.
My party goes as follows:
Dragonite lv100
Alakazam lv100
Typhlosion lv70
Frosslass lv 63
Metagross lv 45 (training)
So what would be a good 6th I'm thinking either a Scizor or a Kabutops.

If you're looking for a pokemon to fill in the gap in strengths, look at the chart and see what types would help complete the team...possibly a fighting pokemon, giving you someone to take out Dark pokemon, along with ice and normal

You just need to find something to fill in a weakness that you currently have as a team

I'm thinking a grass-type to fill the anti-ground and water holes.

(and I use bulbapedia...not that I want to start a vs. war)

Tentacruel. AMAZING special defense, speed, and special attack. Great typing, too.

Why do you have nothing (excluding Metagross) but sweepers and glass cannons? Go pick up a leader, hazer/irritant, and a good tank. Forretress can fill a leader/tank roll, Crobat's the textbook hazer, and Muk makes a great irritant.

I would have to disagree. Weakness to two of the most common attack types (Electricity and Psychic) does not please me. Although it's better than a lot of popular water Pokes (I'm looking at you, Lapras) and can learn Toxic Spikes (essential!), I find that many other Pokemon can fill its roll better.

It's also one of the easier pokemon to find. I didn't realize how awesome it was until I started using it in my second playthrough of HG, but once I did, I realize I need to use it as frequently in every game I can find one.

I gotta side with the Emu on this one, your team is pretty damn offense heavy. There's more to choosing a team than just the Pokemon themselves, you need to consider the movesets that they are using. The ideal team can take any type of hit and give out any type of hit (which is mathematically impossible, by the way, but you want to get as close as you can).

A good Dark type will take half of your team to the cleaners, and if that Dark type is Houndoom (as a lot of people like to use), then your Typhlosion is stood up further. As overused as the guy is, Lucario is a good choice for a Fighting-type, though if you have Metagross, there's no need for an extra.

(and since everyone else is getting into it, I'm a Serebii person myself)

I agree with Bulbapedia over Seribii. Bulbapedia seems to be much more organized and I think is a more reliable database.

I suggest a strong water type, like tentacruel. As others have said, amazing special defense, but rather crappy defense. I would personally go for Feraligatr, that guy has awesome attack.

Blissey! She's all fat and awesome. Highest potential health of any pokémon.

Tell me EV's so I can tell you exactly? Oh and Nature. And what they are supposed to be (LIke Lead, Wall, etc.)
